Synopsis:
Memory (2023) follows Sylvia, a devoted single mother and social worker whose life is kept in careful order by routines, her job, her daughter, and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. After reluctantly attending a high school reunion, she has a strange encounter with Saul, a man from her past who inexplicably follows her home. Confused and unsettled, Sylvia learns that Saul suffers from early-onset dementia, making him unable to recall or understand their shared history. Struggling with buried trauma from her own past, including memories she has never fully confronted, Sylvia agrees to help care for Saul at the request of his family.
