The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 semi final matches will be played between Tues 8th July and Wednesday 9th July with the winners advancing to the final showdown. The semi final fixtures schedule are as follows
• Fluminense vs Chelsea
• PSG vs Real Madrid
Club World Cup Semi final preview
The semi finalists have fought hard to get to this stage. Overcoming top quality opponents along the way. Which of these teams will secure a place in the final and a shot at the trophy? 
• Fluminense vs Chelsea: At the beginning of the tournament, only few would have backed either of these teams to reach this stage, but here they are, with one leg each in the final. Only one would reach the final though. Fluminense have been nothing short of outstanding in this tournament, beating Inter and Al Hilal in the previous rounds. They will be no pushovers for Chelsea. However, given the quality in this Chelsea team, coupled with the addition of Jõao Pedro, we reckon Chelsea will edge this one.
Prediction: 1-3 Chelsea win, Jõao Pedro to score his first Chelsea goal.
• Paris St Germain vs Real Madrid: This fixture promises to be a classic and many eyes would be on this one. PSG are the best team in Europe while Real Madrid have a huge pedigree in international cup competitions. The Parisians saw off Bayern Munich in the quarter finals and are poised to eliminate Real Madrid too. However, given Madrid’s experience and reputation, this will be no easy game for PSG. Real Madrid are in the process of rebuilding with a new manager while PSG have a well oiled team assembled by Luis Enrique. We expect them to oust the Spanish giants but won’t be surprised if the reverse is the case.
Prediction: PSG win 4-3, extra time might be required, given the similarity in quality of the two sides.
