The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 quarter final matches will be played between Friday 4th July and Saturday 5th July, with the winners progressing to the semis. Below are the fixture schedule
• Fluminense vs Al Hilal
• Palmeiras vs Chelsea
• Bayern Munich vs PSG
• Real Madrid vs Dortmund
Quarter final preview
The Club World Cup has served up some interesting games as well as some surprising results so far, the latest of which was Man City’s shock defeat to Al Hilal. With semi final tickets at stake, we examine the fixtures.
• Fluminense vs Al Hilal: Two of the tournament’s best performing surprise packages will go toe to toe on Friday. There’s no clear favorites for this match and both sides would fancy their chances of progressing. Fluminense do look like they could edge it but you never know what their Saudi opponents have in stock. 
Prediction: 2:2 after extra time and the winner to be decided by penalties.
• Palmeiras vs Chelsea: Another Brazilian side in the mix, Palmeiras will face Chelsea for a place in the semi final. This is an interesting match up that could serve up some goals. While Chelsea may look the favorites on paper, Palmeiras has shown in the Club World Cup what they’re capable of. The winner of this match will face the winner of Fluminense vs Al Hilal in the Semis. 
Prediction: Chelsea win 2-1. Although Palmeiras are a decent side, we expect Chelsea quality to be the difference.
• Bayern Munich vs PSG: In what promises to be the fixture of the round, two of Europe’s heavyweights will clash on Saturday. PSG has been the best team in Europe over the last couple of months and their dominance over European teams has been shown in this tournament, a 4-0 drubbing of Atlético Madrid a testament to that. Bayern also have been one of the stand out teams in this Club World Cup edition. 
Prediction: PSG win 4-3. PSG are in blistering form. We reckon they’re unstoppable at the moment.
• Real Madrid vs Dortmund: In the last but not the least fixture, Dortmund will take on Real Madrid. The Los Blancos edged out Juventus in the round of 16 thanks to Gonzalo García’s header, while Guirassy’s goals helped Dortmund past Monterey. This match will see the Bellingham brothers face each other for the first time. Perhaps one of them might be the difference maker. The winner of this match will face the winner between Bayern and PSG. 
Prediction: Real Madrid win 3-2. Real Madrid’s experience in cup tournaments could be the difference between this two sides
